Omaha Symphony Review for Michael Cavanaugh
Omaha, NE, October 2010

Michael Cavanaugh's latest show "The Songs of Elton John and More!" received rave reviews at his most recent symphony performance in Omaha, NE.

World-Herald staff writer Carol Bicak exclaimed, "There's no substitute for stage presence, and Michael Cavanaugh has it in abundance. His youthful good looks, easy connection with the audience, way of making rock standards his own and his energy can endear him to pretty much everyone."

Cavanaugh played many of Elton John's most popular hits, including the heartfelt "Candle In The Wind," "Your Song," and more upbeat tunes like "Tiny Dancer," and "Benny and the Jets."

Other musical selections included The Who's "Pinball Wizard" Paul McCartney's "Live and Let Die," a medley of the band Chicago's best hits, and also fan favorites such as Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Come Sail Away" by Styx.
