This summer, aerial performance troupe AntiGravity will launch a much-anticipated, multi-city Brazilian tour of its newest high-flying show, set to launch in São Paulo in August. Created by AntiGravity founder Christopher Harrison and presented in association with Musika Produções Artísticas e Culturais, the new AntiGravity tour will play additional engagements in Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Salvador and Recife. Major sponsorship for AntiGravity’s performances in Brazil is provided by Banco Santander.
“AntiGravity and Musika have been working on this deal for well over a year, and we are extremely excited and humbled to be able to present our unique form of athletic artistry in this beautiful country,” said AntiGravity Managing Partner Alexander Schlempp. “Dance, music and acrobatics are an integral part of the Brazilian culture and its audiences are notorious for their appreciation of high-energy performances. AntiGravity regularly brings audiences in the US and in Europe to its feet, and we are up to the challenge of rocking this great public’s experience of theatre. Fly High!”
