Upcoming Symphony Dates for Michael Cavanaugh
U.S.A., February 2010

Michael Cavanaugh is truly a showman like no other. Nominated for both Tony and Grammy awards for his work in Billy Joel and Twyla Tharp’s Broadway sensation “Movin’ Out,” Cavanaugh has moved on to accomplish even bigger feats since his days as a Broadway star.

For the last five years, Cavanaugh has become one of the hottest artists in the corporate and special events market. A combination of classic hits, fun and innovative covers, and moments of pure nostalgia, Cavanaugh’s corporate show with full band is nothing short of the best in Rock ‘n’ Roll.

His newest endeavor landed him a symphony tour in 2008 titled “Michael Cavanaugh in Concert: The Music of Billy Joel and More!” Throughout the last two years, Cavanaugh and his band have performed with over 25 symphonies, including The Boston Pops, Cincinnati Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony and the San Diego Symphony.  Now preparing for his latest symphony program debut for the 2010-2011 season “Michael Cavanaugh in Concert: The Songs of Elton John and More,” Cavanaugh plans to delve deeper into the melodic stylings of Rock legend Elton John, while also incorporating his own renditions of other timeless hits. Stay tuned for exciting developments as Cavanaugh takes his show on the road!
